Do you remember when you first learned you were going to have a baby…memorable right?

How about the first time they rolled over….or their first tooth…first steps.

All firsts are truly new beginnings where both we and our children blaze new trails, learn new competencies and experience life through a new activity or experience.

And no first is a memorable as the first day of school for our children.

I remember last September driving in the morning and seeing a young boy, looked like 5 years old, with his backpack on his back, his mom by his side and his trusty blanket draped over his shoulder and around his arm as Mom was kissing him goodbye and helping him on the school bus.

I could just imagine here it is the first day of school for this little guy and one that, depending on how our children are wired can be challenging and exciting all at the same time.

So with school having just begun in some areas and beginning in a few weeks for a few others, we thought it would be a great time to talk about firsts in our children’s lives through the lens of their wired style. Listen in to this weeks My Wired Style itunes podcast for tips on how to ease the transition of ‘firsts’ looking at it through the lens of our children’s wired styles. Whether your child is beginning kindergarten, college or you’re moving to a new home or church, listen in as we share the needs and motivations for each wired style and how to lead to a successful transition.
