Paraphrasing Kevin Miller in this week’s My Wired Style itunes Podcast When we excel in our strength it is a full life experience.
Boy that is so true.
If you have ever been around a child who is enjoying something they absolutely love and it is a natural strength of theirs, there are several words to describe them at that moment:
Joyful
Excited
Glowing
Confident
Unflappable
Maybe it was a young athlete who is really gifted in a sport and is not only performing well, but sharing their knowledge in an encouraging way to another team mate.
Or
Was it the child who is a gifted musician who may have been having a ‘bad day’ but once they took the stage with their violin in hand, they let themselves go into their music and as they played an amazing and sweet melody you could see their head waving to the rhythm of the music. When the piece was over the expression on their face was priceless.
That’s what we want for ourselves as adults and for our children too although sometimes it feel like a long way off.
Since each of us were endowed by our Creator with strengths and abilities, it only makes sense that we would feel the fullness of life when we are operating in them.
In this weeks My Wired Style Podcast we speak with Kevin Miller founder of Free Agent Academy.
What does this have to do with your children?
Everything of course!
You see Kevin meets with we adults who are in our 20,30,40’s or 50’s who are interested in operating in our strengths. As the founder of The Free Agent Academy and a Dad of six (soon to be seven) Kevin traces back his strengths as a child as well as some of the strength influencers in his life, his children’s lives and in our today. As Kevin said in our broadcast …”When people excel in their strength it is a full life experience”. Don’t miss this one!
