How BabyPlays Works:

The company offers a range of monthly membership programs (starting at $36.99 for 4 toys per month). Like its DVD-by-mail counterpart, you create a wishlist, the toys arrive by mail, and you keep them for as long as you want (no late fees; you just need to be an active member). When you are ready for a change, you return the old ones in a postage paid box and await the new ones. You can shop by age (around age 5 seems to be the upper end), or by toy category, and it appears their selections are well-chosen. In addition, all toys are thoroughly sanitized.

This gives recycling new parental meaning (and just think of the opportunities it could open for those overstuffed closets and bins)!
