RSVP NOW for our Amazing Summer Planning Luncheon and Expo– and You Might WIN a Vacation!– SEE BELOW
——————————————————————————–
We asked you to tell us how you find summer and vacation planning, and you did. Here now is a quick summary of what we learned from you:
The most labor-intensive aspects of getting summer orchestrated? A close call: We particularly appreciated some of the other items you added to our list, which included: buying all the gear, coordinating the camp physicals, researching options for the first time with young children, the costs, and negotiating the time off, to enjoy the summer yourself! |
Notably, 72% of you think summer planning poses a particular challenge for working moms.
Some of the reasons you shared as to why:
- “Coordinating my work schedule, with my husband’s work schedule, with the babysitter’s vacation, with a good time to travel…”
- “When there is not a full-time childcare giver at home and the children are school-aged, but there is no longer a school day, this is a definite challenge. Even with a 12 year old it still is….”
- “It’s time-consuming!”
Worth noting, we also heard a lot of expressions of cool resolve, i.e. “You just need to find the right resources – if you are a working mom, you are used to being efficient.”
If you have not made all of your own arrangements yet, you are in very good company: 1/3 of you told us you are all, or mostly, done with your summer planning, but 2/3rds of you still have the majority yet to do…
Our vote for the best way to get it all done: JOIN US at our “Busy Moms Summer Planning Luncheon and Expo!”
The most ambitious event we have orchestrated, with nationally-recognized speakers plus a slew of camps, travel companies, baby proofers, gear companies, activities, childcare services and more… Join us to connect with other executive moms AND explore a range of carefully chosen options, in one luncheon.
It’s Wednesday, March 5th at the Harmonie Club in New York City… And if you RSVP NOW you will have a chance to WIN:
