Here’s one resolution worth considering for the new year: unburdening yourself of some of your more laborious responsibilites. No, we’re not suggesting shippng the infants to boarding school or quitting your job… but as for the more pedestrian tasks on your list, it is possible to delegate them. How?

Call in the “Momcierges”…

It’s hard to imagine a concept more suited to the needs of an executive mom than Momcierge. As the name suggests, Momcierge is a concierge service founded by two moms, with the specific needs of busy moms driving what they do.

An ultimate black book meets the ultimate personal assistant…

From the arcane (a 5th birthday party with a frog theme?)… to the time-saving (need that plasma TV Santa delivered actually installed?)… the moms of Momcierge boast that there is no job too small or too challenging for them.

Use them to the extent that you need them…

If you have that “I need to be in control” gene common that seems rather prevalent among us, Momcierge can be a great help in researching options (i.e. best afterschool classes for your child), allowing you to take the information from there. Alternatively, you can delegate all the way and allow them to both research and execute what it is that you need.

Momcierge’s services can be tapped on an a la carte basis (they charge $50/hour), or you can become a member, which entitles you to a full year of basic services for one price. If interested, tell them you are an Executive Mom and they will honor the 2006 introductory rate of $150 for an annual membership this year.
