Even if you’re an Executive Mom who has never missed a beat on the “executive” part, chances are you know someone who, by choice or not, may be out of work now and looking to return. In fact, given how many women this does effect, we’re proponents of initiatives like this one:

A pilot program from the organization WOMEN FOR HIRE for New York area women who are looking to return to work.

We’ve been proponents of Women For Hire’s mission to provide a comprehensive array of high-caliber of recruitment services for women in general. Off of that platform, this new program should answer an important need that we recognize impacts many of you as well– the need to return to the workplace after an absence.

If you are one of these women, consider nominating yourself– or passing this to someone else who could benefit

This test program will kick-off in June, starting with 10 chosen women from the New York area who are currently out-of-work but are actively seeking (re) employment. Women for Hire CEO Tory Johnson and her team of experts will meet with these women every week to provide help, and guidance, until they are employed. Ultimately, they expect to roll-out the program to provide this kind of help on a national basis.

As a result, you or a deserving friend could have new reason to have your kid don declamatory t-shirts like this one (which by the way, are for sale at www.womenforhire.com).
