That Spring feeling is finally here, and if it has inspired in you that festive feeling, we have a couple of festivity suggestions– both for great causes– in which you may want to partake with the whole family:

The Third Annual CHILDREN’S DAY ARTRAGEOUS is this Sunday, April 25th

We had so much fun at this event last year that we had to mention it again. Benefitting Edwin Gould Services for Children and Families, which provides care and support for disadvantaged NY-area children living in foster care, ARTRAGEOUS creates carnival fun for kids of all ages. Enjoy games, live performances, actvities, food and prizes (and keep an eye out for certain celebrities manning the game booths).

ARTRAGEOUS is this Sunday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th St. Admission is $25/adult, $20/child, though kids 4 years and under are admitted free.

Then, One Week Later, it’s the KIDS FOR KIDS CELEBRITY CARNIVAL

Benefitting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Kids 4 Kids has become the splashiest of family-oriented charity events, drawing a “who’s who” of celebrities (that’s Gloria Reuben and Hallie Eisenberg there last year) who, as with Artrageous, volunteer to work the game booths, making for some memorable moments. Guests are also treated to a major array of culinary treats from over 30 of New York’s finest restaurants.

Important note though, charitable fun does not come inexpensively on this one: tickets are $750 per adult and $250 per child. Kids For Kids is Saturday, May 1st, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Industria Superstudio, 775 Washington Street, Greenwich Village, NY.
