The notion of letting “your fingers do the walking” for information just doesn’t seem so efficient anymore (it’s more often a hike). However, now that there is a Yellow Pages with an understanding of target marketing, we’ve taken new notice…

Keep Your eyes open for the PARENTS YELLOW PAGES

Of the assortment of Yellow Pages publishers, we have to give a nod to Ambassador Publications for creating what they say is the only parent-geared directory in the USA. As such, it’s smaller (and a lot easier) to look up local listings on everything from camps, classes, schools, pediatricians, shoe stores, uniforms, museums, party services, nanny services, and the like.

3 EDITIONS NOW, AND MORE TO COME

Currently, there are Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn editions of the Parents Yellow Pages; additional editions for the Bronx as well as for other counties in the New York Metropolitan area are on their way in 2004.

Getting your copy shouldn’t be too much harder than taking a quick look around– it’s available for free at hundreds of locations throughout the city, including schools, dance studios, public libraries, museums, YMCAs, day care centers, martial arts centers, pediatricians, retailers, and more. If you’re having trouble tracking one down, want more information, or want to do a little virtual finger-walking, you can learn more at:
