No plans this Saturday? Here’s a very special afternoon event that your kids will love– and that also benefits children who are far less fortunate.

You’re Invited to the 2nd Annual Children’s Day “ARTRAGEOUS”

A fabulous, family benefit, “Artrageous” is a carnival of fun for the whole family.

Kids and adults can enjoy an array of carnival games, activities like face painting and the moon bouncer, as well as the spectacle of costumed characters, clowns, magicians, and special performances for a range of ages (from Joe of “Blue’s Clues” to apparently the country’s best Britney impersonator)!

You Can Even Toss Rings at the Stars

Manning the carnival booths are expected to be a bevy of celebrities like Vincent D’Onofrio of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”, Eva La Rue and John Callahan of “All My Children”, Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni of “Law & Order: SVU” (what would NY actors do without “Law and Order?”) and others.

And here’s the “Art” part: some of the nation’s most acclaimed visual artists (like Jeff Koons, Ross Bleckner, Charles Fazzino) will be on hand to collaborate with the children to create works of art, which will go up for auction.

Best of All, All This Fun is For a Good Cause

Proceeds from “Artrageous” benefit the Edwin Gould Services for Children and Families, which serves and protects children who are living in foster care as a result of suffering from child abuse, domestic violence, neglect or abandonment.

“Artrageous” is this Saturday, April 5, 2003, Noon – 4PM at the Metropolitan Pavilion 125 West 18th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues). Adult admission $20, Children admission $15 (children 4 years and under are admitted free)
