Our Fall Luncheon turned out to be our biggest – and perhaps best!—event to date. Over 150 women joined us after a summer hiatus to (re)connect and come together on the topic you told us you wanted to hear about most: “Getting Flexible: Making Your Work WORK for You.”

Our emcee for the day was WNBC-TV anchor and reporter Jane Hanson, who immediately warmed to the subject, and warmed the audience, with personal accounts of grappling with the issue as an executive mom herself.

Jane led an all-star panel, each of whom brought a unique and valuable perspective to the discussion that ensued. Seated from L to R with Jane Hanson and Executive Moms President Marisa Thalberg: Karen diSanto, VP, Human Resources, Kumon Math and Reading Centers, Liz Lange, CEO, Liz Lange Maternity, Eva Moskowitz, NYC Councilwoman and Tory Johnson, CEO, Women for Hire

The size of the audience did not inhibit an incredibly honest and intimate sharing between audience members and the panel. Every table discussed the subject among themselves during a dining interlude, which allowed each table to come up with their most burning issue on getting flexibility. Befitting a room of executive moms, at times the audience had as many answers they wanted to share as questions!

More than just great conversation was in-store: one lucky attendee walked away with an amazing “No Boys Allowed” weekend getaway package from the Pierre Hotel and Barney’s (worth over $850). Everyone walked away with two gift bags… and the opportunity to meet and bond with other incredible women.

The Executive Moms Fall Luncheon would not have been possible without the generous support of its two primary sponsors: the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network andThe Meredith Corporation.
