We are happy to turn the spotlight again on another one of our intriguing members; this time we are introducing you to Executive Mom Catherine Valega, from Winchester, MA.  Here she is in Momorandum Digest version:

Quick Career Description:

Woman-focused certified financial advisor, with a "green" orientation

The More-Than-One-Line Career Description:

My company, Green Bridge Wealth Management, was founded with the goal of assisting our clients in every aspect of their financial lives. My principle goal is to help clients construct bridges to a greener future. Our definition of “green” is multi-faceted. It signifies a wealthy, abundant, prosperous future as well as one that respects our environment, and enhances and preserves it for our children and grandchildren.

Fast Family Facts:

I'm a mother of four girls (ages 3, 5, 7 and 9), and I have a wonderful Swiss husband. I look forward to our weekly date nights, where we actually get to connect, drink a glass of wine... and I can skip the whole dinner/bath routine!

A Piece of Personal Trivia:

I have a 'playdate' every day with my girlfriend in my neighborhood: my alarm goes off at 5:55am, and we meet at 6am to go for a run together.  I also love to play soccer (with other real 'soccer moms!'), volunteer around town, and most of all, spend time with my family.   Lately I have been spending more time getting involved with my community as well.

Executive Mom Pearl of Wisdom:

Sometimes I wonder why I take on so much, but most of the time I love being involved will all sorts of aspects of our community, and beyond. I'm hoping to show my girls that philanthropy is an important part of life.

I am so impressed by all our executive moms. Most times I get inspired and to be honest at others times I feel tired. I would love to hear how these outstanding moms find the time. I work from 7:20am to 5pm everyday with no lunch break (nature of my work). I have 3 kids, 1 husband and an au pair. The kids play seasonal sports, Tae Kwon Do and paino lessons. We have church and CCD on Sundays. I drop off my baby at daycare at 6:30am in the morning and pick her up around 6:15 pm. I am almost never home before 6:45pm. Then the mad rush with homework, getting ready for bed etc. I have twin 6 year old boys and a 22 month old. Saturdays and Sundays are cleaning, errands, family events. We go on outings on the weeknds too. With limited funds I can't figure out how to do more. We try to volunteer a few times a year at a food bank. I would love to hear how other mom's can manage. How much money do you need to have more time. I am so impressed with the accomplishments I read about but sometimes I feel a bit inadequate, like I should be doing more. Oh yeah and I am going for my master's in another field part time too when I can swing it. Any suggestions? It sounds like you have your acts together. Any other mom's out there that can use some help.
