What's Your One Line Career Description?
I'm an entrepreneur and creator of the NYC
Teacher/Tutor Resource Group.
What's Your More Than One Line Career
Description?
After many years in the NYC School System, it seemed clear that I
had the connections and resources to create a fantastic group for
finding the right tutor for each student. It's essential for students to
feel confidence to thrive. Through my 15 years of navigating the NYC
Schools I have gathered the most amazing teachers, as well as
professionals and outstanding college students to work with students. I
work with each parent and participate in creating each relationship to
find what is best for each family, drawing role models, mentors and
academic coaches -- people who care about education and get great
satisfaction from working with our children, one on one.
Fast Family Facts:
My husband and I are from New York, as are our parents and grandparents.
We have 3 boys: one in his freshman year at Columbia, one who is a 9th
grader and one a 6th grader.
One More Piece of Trivia About You:
While I run my own tutoring resource company now, I am an architect by
education. I've worked as a designer in theater that led to years
as a producer. I also worked as a freelance segment producer for
NBC News... and I manage my children's careers as performers as well.
